Things worth
asking us.

Ask every company these three questions. The answers explain why some quotes are cheaper, and why they rarely stay that way.

Groundwork

How deep?

For a standard driveway, we excavate to 250 mm and install 150 mm of compacted Type 1. A 100 mm excavation suits a light-use patio, not a vehicle driveway.

Included

Who removes the spoil?

We include spoil removal in the price. It is often omitted from low quotes, then added later.

Drainage

Where does the water go?

We use a permeable build-up or a linear drain to a soakaway, depending on the site. Drainage should be agreed before work begins.
